#MOTD: Eyes on the 70's Palette

Greeting Beauties!!!

Unfortunately, I think this palette is sold out but there is a similar palette that BH Cosmetics offers, which is the Eyes on the '80s Eyeshadow Palette. 

I really like this 70's one though. The colors are really comparable, however, there are more shimmer shades in this '70s palette.

For the look I acheived below, I used the darkest blue shade (one the lid), the white shadow (on the brow bone), the neutral brown shde (in the crease), and the metallic gold brown shade (on the bottom lash line).

I used MAC's gold glitter on the bottom lash line as well. This glitter came in MAC holiday pigment set.

 I'm really feeling like the 70's right now.

Prada Candy Kiss Collection

Yesterday, this sample of the Prada Candy was in my Macy's catalog, and let me tell you hunnie.......

It smells so good. The Eau De Parfume scent is a great mix of baby powder, floral, and sugar. The sample sheet was the Eau De Parfume scent. It smells good. It is a really nice scent for summer and/or early fall. 

This thee pack of scents is currently on sale at Macy's for $80.00, and apparently this gift set is a Macy's exclusive.

Diet vs. Exercise

Greeting Beauties!

Here is my first lifestyle post, and I am excited about it. So, I have been struggling with eating clean the past month, where I did really well a couple weeks back. However, that period left me yearning for salt and sugar. I felt like a serious addict. 

Therefore, now I have resulted into exercising instead of eating clean. I am just not in the right mind frame for that right now :)  I am a member at the gym at my job, however, with the fiscal year end approaching I can't go to the gym during lunch probably until October.

So, I have decided to just focus on my abs, since that is my problem area (after having three children). 

I have been incorporating 5 to 10 min ab workouts into my free time at home, where I will do one ab workout when I first wake up and then one right before dinner.  

This has been really effective for me. So, I have some recommended video's that I have been turning to time and time again.  I have listed them below from easiest to hardest.  Number five at the end is a killer.

This one is the hardest and it feels like it lasts forever, but it is really effective.  Let me know if you decide to try some of these. 

After doing a couple of these videos everyday, I have not had to hold my stomach in and I have pretty much been eating anything I want.  I know that this is just specific to me because my stomach is my problem area, however, you may have another problem area that you would like to attack.   

So, if you are like me and you don't want to watch what you eat and you don't have a lot of time for exercising, pick quick workouts on Youtube catered to your problem area. It doesn't have to be abs. 

Remember: This is only a recommendation for those that don't have time to exercise, and still want to eat what they want. Some people may not agree with this method and that is fine :) I like food. #imjustsaying :)

(4) CLARISONIC 'Mia 2 - Mod Floral' Sonic Skin Cleansing System: I have always wanted one of these, and of course I want this particular one that has floral print design. This is regularly priced at $149.00 but on sale for $120.00.  This set also comes with a cleanser and 2 year warranty.

(5) NARS 'True NARS' Lip Pencil Set: I would definitely wear these pencils as a lipstick because they look so moisturizing. This set is priced regularly at $89.00 but on sale for $49.00.

(6) LORAC 'The Skinny Palette - Black' Eyeshadow Palette: This is the best deal of all. This palette is on sale for $15.00 and regularly priced at $113.00.  That's almost to good to be true.  There are two shimmer shades and five matte shades. This great mix of shades would create a gorgeous smokey eye.

Boots

(1) Sperry 'Saltwater' Waterproof Rain Boot: These are on sale for $79.90, where they are regularly priced at $119.00.  I would love to have these to commute on the train when it rains and snows. These are too cute.
(2) Sam Edelman 'Kayla' Over the Knee Boot: I really like these because I don't have anything like them and the heel looks really comfortable. The upper material is suede and the lining and bottom is synthetic. They are on sale for $189.00.

Handbags 

(1) Rebecca Minkoff 'Medium MAB' Tote: I would love this bag for work. It is on sale for $176.90 (Regular Price: $265).
(2) Rebecca Minkoff 'Mini MAB Tote' Crossbody Bag: I would love this bag for the weekend. It is not on sale and it costs $195.

M·A·C Giambattista Valli Collection

I just had to share this beauty Giambattista Valli Collection from MAC that came out yesterday (July 9th). The lipsticks are sold out on the website however I they may be still available at specific department stores (in store) that sale MAC. You never know. I wouldn't get my hopes up though (sad face).

Favorite Lip Color for Work

I think I have raved about this lip color before, but I just have to reiterate the beauty of this lip color. It is the perfect shade for the office (in my opinion).  It is a perfect blend of brown, orange and red, that creates a beautiful neutral look that isn't too flamboyant for the office. 

Also the formula of this L'oreal Colour Riche Lipcolour in Cinnamon Toastis really moisturizing.

Lipstick Description: 

Lipcolour with intensely rich color and hydration

Enriched with nourishing ingredients like Omega 3, Vitamin E, and Argan Oil to condition and soften lips

Love It!!!

I paired it with my Cinnamon Lip Liner from Mary Kay. 

I'm sure this lip color is more for the Fall, however, I think it is perfect for the office.

Greetings Show Off's, 

Here is my wish list for a upcoming wine festival that I will be attending. I am in love with rompers, because they flatter my short frame more so than jump suits and maxi dresses.

Of course, the shoes and accessories are from my favorite store (Ann Taylor). Love all they have to offer. Not only do they sell amazing attire that fits my short stature, they also have awesome shoes, jewelry and accessories. Love these sunglasses. I really want them, tear :). 

I love both of these shoes, however, I know the yellow strap wedges would look the best on my feet.
