#MOTD: Eyes on the 70's Palette

Greeting Beauties!!!
Unfortunately, I think this palette is sold out but there is a similar palette that BH Cosmetics offers, which is the Eyes on the '80s Eyeshadow Palette

I really like this 70's one though. The colors are really comparable, however, there are more shimmer shades in this '70s palette.

For the look I acheived below, I used the darkest blue shade (one the lid), the white shadow (on the brow bone), the neutral brown shde (in the crease), and the metallic gold brown shade (on the bottom lash line).

I used MAC's gold glitter on the bottom lash line as well. This glitter came in MAC holiday pigment set.

I'm really feeling like the 70's right now.

All Products used:
Stila Stay All Day Foundation in Warm
BH Cosmetics Eyes on the '70s  Palette
NYX Correct, Conceal, and Contour Palette in Dark
LA Girl Pro Concealer in Almond
MAC Translucent Loose Powder
MAC Glitter in Gold
Covergirl "Queen Collection" Bronzer
Jordana Powder Blush in Touch of Pink
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Stain in Sultry

I would definitely wear this look out on the weekend during the daytime or night. Let me know what you think. Do you own a similar palette?

#MOTD for Work

Greetings Show Off's,

The stars of the show for today's #motd are the Too Face Natural Eyes palette for my eyes and the NYX Correct, Conceal and Contour palette (a dupe of MAC's).
I used the NYX Correct, Conceal and Contour palette for my eyebrow highlight and under eye highlight. I also used the brown shade located in the top right hand corner on my under eye area for concealing. I also used the deepest brown shade for contouring.  Lastly, I applied the color correct shade (reddish brown) on my chin area and on some other dark areas on my forehead. I did all of this before I applied my foundation (which was MAC's Prolongwear foundation in NW47).  After I applied the foundation I also used the Tyra Beauty contour stick, in order to go back over where I contoured before I applied my foundation.
For the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette, I used Cashmere Bunny in the Crease, Push up on the Lid, Erotica on the outer "V" of the lid and Heaven on the inner corner of my eye.
I lined my eyes with Julep's Gel Eye Glider in Smoky Taupe Shimmer icon

I really love this liner because it is really creamy and shimmery.  It really does glide on so it is true to the name.
This lipstick which is pictured above is Mary Kay's Redwood (very old). I lined my lips with Mary Kay's lip liner in dark brown.

I used Younique's 3D Fiber Lash on my lashes. This mascara is really awesome.
Let me know what you think. Which palette's do you reach for, for work makeup?
Thanks for Reading!!! and Have a Great Day!

Work #MOTD

Happy Monday!!!

Today I overslept and made it work really late. Just another case of the Monday Blues.

So for my makeup today, I primed my eyes with MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly and then used the Maybelline Nudes Palette, for my crease and transition shades.

With the LORAC Alter Ego eyeshadow Palette in Dream Girl, I used the green shimmer shade on my eyelids and placed the white shimmer shade (on the left hand side of the palette) on my inner eye corner.

I then lined my eyes with the Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Liner and followed up with the Younique 3D Mega Lash.

For the lips I used the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Pearl. I love this shade. It's a really pretty "My Lips but Better" nude shade (If that makes sense). I think my sister left it over my house and I tried it and kept it. Sorry LaKisha :)

That is all. Thanks for reading :)
