New Fav: Lip Combo

Hey There,

On Saturday I tried a pretty cute lip combo that I felt I should share with you all.  The lip pencil I used was MAC's lip pencil in Half-Red and the lipstick is the e.l.f. Studio Moisturizing Lipstick in Ravishing Rose

I know I need to sharpen my pencil :)
The lip pencil is a little darker than the lipstick. I lined my lips with the pencil and also filled them in. I then followed up with the lipstick (over the lip liner). The lipstick added some shine to the matte look the pencil gave.
This e.l.f. Studio Moisturizing Lipstick is really nourishing to the lips.  This is a really nice formula.  I also like that the lipstick is a little transparent so that I can easily wear this to work and not look too dramatic (when worn alone).

What are some of your favorite lip combinations?

Greetings Show Off's!

Today I will be reviewing the elf Flawless Finish Foundation. It is only $6.00, which made me a little apprehensive about its effectiveness. This foundation comes in six different shades and I am in the darkest shade Coco.

Overall Impression and Rating
When I first tried this foundation a couple days ago, I initially fell in love. The coverage is awesome. I was also really impressed with that it comes with a pump and it is only $6.  Other higher end foundations do not come with a pump.  The consistency of this foundation is really thick where the foundation does get a stuck in the tubing of the pump, where it takes a lot of extra pumping to dispense, which is a little annoying. Overall, I would give this foundation an 8 out of 10 rating.  The coverage it provides is pretty good, however, it  doesn't last all day when it comes to covering my dark spots. I would definitely purchase this again, because you can't beat $6.

New Favorite Liquid Liner

Greeting Beauties!!!! Happy Thursday!

Why am I wearing a scarf today? Because I had a cold commute :) Why is it cold today?

I definitely have a new favorite black liquid liner and it is so easy to apply and is super pigmented. What I have noticed about liners lately are that the super easy felt tip ones are not as pigmented and the liquid liners are usually harder to do your cat eye with.  I have finally fell in love with a very inexpensive one that deserves a lot of praise.

It is the..................

e.l.f. Essential Expert Liquid Liner in Jet Black

It is only $2.00. That sounds crazy, right?

As I am getting better with my winged liner, this liner is the best.

Here is e.l.f.'s description of it: No more tugging or pulling on your eyelids with this easy glide Expert Liquid Liner. The smudge-proof liner is rich in color, creating a long lasting defined look. The fine tip brush creates easy and precise definition for natural or dramatic eye effects.

I totally agree with this description.

What is one of your favorite liquid liner? Please try this if you already haven't. It is only $2.00. The one I have came in a three pack from Marshall's, which had Copper and Stardust in it as well ($2.99). So, I purchased mine for $.99. #bragging

Let me know what you think and if you will be purchasing this yourself soon.
